notice i didnt use any of my kites today!
tried the 17mtre strike and ws out on it from about 10 ish till nearly 3.
well actually was out on it for about half hour before i just had to come in and get rid of that **** flexi bar and short lines and put a proper bar on ie my stage 2 and 30 mtre lines;just got to have that big window!
well the kite;
stable in the air, great de power ,(according to shem i was out in about 20 knotts at some point) hence copes well with the gusts.reminds me of the wipi free airs that i have .turns well for such a big kite,great air times but quite a different technique to re directing the kite whilst in the air,needs to redirected very soon after take off as other wise it just sits above your head and you float back down vertically followed by the kite, as peeps on the beach can verify.really enjoyed the kite,great for wave riding as it is so stable you can just forget about it.
could def recomend this beasty for learning as well as advanced riders,with the exception of the bar that is,why cant flexi make a bar that locks; dont need arms the size of popeyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
